Vetafarm Parrot Essentials Bird Food is formulated by veterinarians to promote nutritional balance. It is enriched with protein, carbohydrates, vitamins and minerals. The feed can be used as a complete diet as well as a supplement. When offered as a complete (80% of total) diet, it helps with growth, breeding, brain function and optimum feather development. The diet features nutritionally complete, blueberry-flavoured pellets and locally sourced fruit and seasonal nuts. The feed is perfect to keep birds occupied and prevent them from getting bored. The diet is completely safe for breeding birds. It features irresistible flavours that cater to even the pickiest of eaters and serves as a wholesome and balanced maintenance food for all non-breeding parrots.

Directions:

• For complete nutrition, offer 80% of Vetafarm Parrot Essentials as your bird’s diet. The remaining 20% should constitute treats, fruits and vegetables.
• Most cage birds and aviary birds require about 10% of their bodyweight in dry feed per day.
• 90g Cockatiel: Offer a minimum of 9g of Parrot Essentials pellet per day
• 150g Sun Conure: Offer a minimum of 15g of Parrot Essentials per day
• 300g Galah: Offer a minimum of 30g of Parrot Essentials per dayServe on a clean and dry dish, placed where it cannot be contaminated by droppings, water or tube substrate.
• If the diet becomes contaminated, replace it with fresh feed.
• If using as a supplement, offer 10 – 20% Vetafarm Parrot Essentials of the total diet
• Provide fresh drinking water at all times.
