Vetafarm Laying Hen Wormout Solution is a simple in-water treatment for intestinal parasites in laying hens with no withholding period on eggs. It provides simultaneous treatment for the three most important intestinal worm strains in laying hens: large roundworm (Ascaridia galli), caecal worm (Heterakis gallinae), and hairworm (Capillaria spp.). The solution clears intestinal worm infections caused by these species and prevents symptoms like diarrhoea, anaemia, weight loss, fragile shells, pale yolks, smaller eggs, intestinal damage, etc. Prevent serious health issues in your poultry by treating them regularly (once every 3 months) with Laying Hen Wormout Solution.

How it works?

Vetafarm Laying Hen Wormout Solution contains levamisole HCl as its key ingredient. Levamisole is an antihelminthic ingredient that kills intestinal worms and safeguards your poultry. It is safe and effective, and therefore, the solution has no withholding period on eggs, meaning eggs are safe for consumption after treating hens.

Guidelines:

• Do not use less than 7 days before slaughter for human consumption.
• Dilute Laying Hen Wormout Solution with drinking water at a rate of 50 ml solution per litre of water.
• Repeat treatment once every three months (4 times per year).
• For maximum effectiveness, have the hens consume the solution in the shortest time possible.
• Water should be withheld from the birds 2 hours before nightfall.
• Medicated water should be supplied the following morning.
• Replace the medicated water with fresh water as soon as it is all consumed or after 8 hours.
• Medicated water remaining at the end of the treatment period is to be discarded and containers flushed out with fresh water.
• Do not treat in extremely hot weather due to increased water consumption.
