Protexin Veterinary - Pro-Kolin Advanced Paste For Dogs

Pro-Kolin+ is UK and Australia’s leading probiotic paste specifically targeting acute gastrointestinal disturbance. 

A highly palatable paste containing probiotics, prebiotics, an optimal level of binding agent, and soothing fibres to support gastrointestinal function, soothe the gut lining and firm up faeces in dogs and cats.

Key Benefits:

• Probiotic: Enterococcus faecium. The best studied probiotic organism in dogs and cats, with proven safety and efficacy. 
• Prebiotics: FOS and Acacia Gum. A unique blend of prebiotics which feed good bacteria right along the GI tract. 
• Kaolin: a clay binding agent. Kaolin helps to remove toxins and pathogens, and firms the faeces. 
• Pectin: a plant based polysaccharide. Increases the viscosity and volume of stools, has a soothing effect on the mucosa, and acts as an additional prebiotic. 
• Flavouring: an artificial beef flavouring ensures good palatability whilst removing the risk of triggering a food allergy. No animal derived ingredients are used. 

Due to changes in temperature, the paste may occasionally separate from the oil within the syringe. This can cause oil to come out first when dispensing. We recommend giving the product a gentle shake before use to ensure even consistency.

Ingredients:

Key Ingredients: Kaolin, Preplex® prebiotic, pectin, Protexin probiotic Enterococcus faecium PXN 33 2 x 10^11 CFU/kg; 2 x 10^8 CFU/g 

Ingredients: Soybean, mineral products, technical additives, flavouring products. 

Directions:

Give twice daily by mouth or in food. 

Give for as long as considered necessary by your veterinary surgeon (standard treatment course 2-5 days). 

Can be used from 2 weeks of age (under veterinary supervision) 

Dose according to weight: Rotate the dosing wheel until it is to the right of the number representing the desired quantity (diagram showing the correct administration of 10ml): Replace cap after use.

Care Instructions:

Storage: Store in a cool, dry place (refrigeration is not necessary) Pro-Kolin+ has a 2 year shelf life from the date of manufacture. 

Once open replace the lid and store in a cool dry area. 

Stored correctly Pro-Kolin+ will last until the Best Before End date even if it has been opened.
